Confession time; I am not a perfect parent. ☕ - Did you hear that? All of the gasps? Yes, it is shocking! Yet here I am! ☕ Alright, let's knock off the bullshit. No, I am not a perfect parent, and neither are you. ☕ Yes, I have yelled. Yes, I have reached the end of my rope and had a breakdown wondering if I was doing any of this parenting stuff right. Of course, I've spent countless nights on Google typing in parenting questions and concerns, sometimes while crying. Guess what I've learned? My kids are typical. We're normal in what we go through. - I wasn't relieved. I wasn't okay with the "typical" tantrums and endless failed resolutions. I wanted a plan that actually worked. I wanted to see permanent results, not temporary breaks where I held my breath and hoped it lasted! ☕ I decided I had nothing to lose by buying this book. The result? I am so happy I did. Boundaries With Kids actually gave me a step by step plan on how to deal with everything from whining, to tantrums, to passivity and much more. It is exactly what I needed for helping my 6 year old deal with big feelings, as well as ways to grow my 18 month old into toddler-hood and childhood while preparing them both for teenage-life and adulthood. Yes, being a productive adult does in fact start in childhood. Crazy, right? ☕ If you need some guidance on how to help your child or teen, this is a great step by step guide. Yes, like Dr. Cloud and Dr. Townsend's previous Boundaries books, this is based around Biblical teachings. Keep that in mind if you're an avid non-believer before you start sending me angry messages that I won't respond to. ☕

10/10
