In Ehrenreich's latest book Natural Causes the topic of death is thoroughly examined as well as the health crazes throughout the years trying to cure the illness we call death. In this book we learn how the death gap has dwindled to almost nothing between the races, which was not long ago distanced by things like smoking, drinking, working in the mines and so on. We also learn how the elites constantly strive to create or ingest more exotic and expensive cures (pearls, minerals, etc) in order to increase their longevity while price will keep the peasants at bay. We also examine the new fascination with companies introducing such mental health measures such as meditation and nap rooms within their facilities, along side their already intruding practices of mandating gym time and health coaching. The topics of self and God are touched upon toward the end of Natural Causes. Ehrenreich of course dismantles the diet fads that come out every year as well as how cancer pops up in the body which is no more spontaneous than rolling the dice to decide on an answer thanks to the traitor cells known as Macrophages. One thing is certain, the obsession with diet and health isn't going away, even in my own personal life I strive to be a healthier stronger version of myself daily just like every other rat in the wheel. A great read! 9/10⭐ #bookstagram #bookreviews #booklover #healthylifestyle #healthyfood #health #fitness #fitnessmotivation #fitnessjourney #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth
