Low brow, unfunny, bursting with profanity and questionable parenting. I was not impressed with this book. I should have put it down when I saw on the cover Chelsea Handler thought it was hilarious. Instead, against my better judgement, I decided to give it a try. Maybe it's because I'm a female, maybe it's just because my sense of humor isn't a dumpster fire, that I thought this book just wasn't amusing. I don't find an unhinged father who screams at his kids constantly - funny. Nor do I think the incessant use of the words, "fuck" or "shit" are funny. Call me boring, I suppose, but the constant repetitiveness of "spicy language" doesn't make someone attractive or appealing in my personal opinion. Luckily, this book only took me a few short hours to get through, and on my most recent purge for Goodwill, it was donated. Though I can't get my time back, I can try to prevent others from doing the same.

1/10
